In Memory of Daniel “Danielsaur” Lewis Woolverton

11/07/2017 - 11/30/2022

When Daniel was approximately 4 months old, we noticed that he was not meeting all of his developmental milestones. Around this same time, Daniel was hospitalized and diagnosed with Infantile Spasms. This was the first of many hospital stays to come.

At a year old Daniel got his g-button placed. In addition, Daniel was deaf, blind, and had global developmental delays. Despite the many challenges that Daniel faced, he was the light of our lives. Through all the sickness, his smiles and giggles were there to brighten the darkest days. He loved doing kicks and roars (this is how he gained the name “Danielsaur”) but above all things loved snuggles.

Daniel became sick over Thanksgiving 2022 and ended up in the PICU with rhinovirus and pneumonia. He was released a few days later and seemed better but overnight November 30 Daniel slipped away in his sleep. We were blessed with 5 years and 22 days of smiles, giggles, snuggles, and pure love.

Daniel’s mother shares; “Daniel had the best smiles and giggles. There were the highlight of my day.
