Amy’s youngest son Ryder started have seizures at a very young age. By the time he was three, he was suffering from multiple seizure types, daily. He was then diagnosed with Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome (LGS). Despite everything, Ryder is one of the sweetest and funniest young men you will ever meet.
Ryder is still non-verbal and globally delayed, however when he was six years old he received a new treatment that eliminated his seizures. To this day, Ryder is SEIZURE FREE!!
Amy is passionate about supporting other caregivers and families during their LGS journey. During the families free time, they enjoy exploring the outdoors together.
Amy shares, “Ryder loves the outdoors. He is obsessed with animals and loves searching for pinecones.”
