How many times have you heard these words? “I don’t know how you do it! I could never do what you do! You’re a superhero! Only Special people are given Special children.” How do those words really make you feel? Are you comforted? Angry? Inspired to keep going? Some of us might feel like it’s all the other caregivers who are special, but not ME. Come to our May support group and join the other caregivers as we unpack those well-meaning but often triggering words. Remember, you are not alone and we are Stronger Together!
